Summer in the City - Live Music in Concord, NH

One of the best parts of summer is live music in Concord, New Hampshire! This summer, Concord Parks & Recreation Department is adding Sunday morning acoustic concerts in White Park in addition to their Tuesday night Nevers' Band concerts and Thursday night concerts in Eagle Square. Concord Public Library is holding their Live Music with the Library concerts in June, July and August. Additionally, there are many other opportunities to experience live music right here in the capital city throughout the summer.


CONCORD PARKS & REC CONCERTS Concord Parks & Rec is hosting a series of free Tuesday and Thursday night concerts in June, July, and August. Everyone is welcome to attend. New this year: acoustic concerts will be held on Sunday mornings in White Park at 10 a.m.


White Park Acoustic Concerts on Sundays

Come enjoy Sunday morning at White Park with acoustic tunes, coffee and light refreshments. If there is inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside the Merrimack Lodge. The Merrimack Lodge at White Park will be open from 9 a.m. until noon during the concerts.

Nevers Band Concerts Nevers Band plays on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. at various locations around the city. Nevers’ Band Concerts are an exciting & fun experience for the whole family! Their diverse repertoire includes popular numbers, patriotic music, classic orchestral transcriptions, music from motion pictures & more!

Eagle Square Concerts

Thursday night concerts are held in Eagle Square beginning at 7 p.m. and feature a variety of musical acts. Visit the Concord Parks & Rec website or their Summer/Fall brochure (page 7) for more information.

Concord Public Library – Live Music with the Library Concord Public Library’s Live Music with the Library concert series returns this summer. These concerts are free to attend and all are welcome.

  • NICK'S OTHER BAND: July 20, 6 p.m., Eagle Square. Nick's Other Band is a high energy band playing classic rock and more.

  • DAVID SHORE'S TRUNK OF FUNK: August 10, 6 p.m., Keach Park. Trunk of Funk is a Concord-based, 5-6 piece band playing originals, covers and everything in between.

OTHER LIVE MUSIC IN CONCORD

Concord Arts Market

The Concord Arts Market is a monthly event in Rollins Park. This city park provides ample green space, allowing the arts market to grow both in the number of talented art and artisan vendors, but also in the variety of vendors and opportunities, including food, musicians and more! Visitors can check the event’s website for more information and a list of vendors.


Intown Concord’s Annual Market Days Festival Intown Concord’s 48th annual Market Days Festival is June 23-25 this year. This free, three-day street festival features shopping, food trucks, family-friendly activities, local artisans, and live entertainment each day from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. This year, Vertical Horizon is playing on June 25 at 6:30 p.m. in addition to many more hours of live music. Capital Arts Fest Capital Arts Fest takes place in downtown on September 25-26. This annual free event, put on by the League of NH Craftsmen, features fine craft, food, and also live entertainment. Visit the event website for more details.
